Darren You were my manager for almost 10 years. We often joked about who was managing who as I was the gobby, bossy one! You were my go to person, you calmed me down when I was angry, you listened to me when I was upset. You did what you could to reduce workload and/or stress. You cared! I never once saw you angry, even when I pushed you to the limit. You took everything in your stride, always with a smile on your face 😁 You absolutely doted on Claire, Josh and James - they were your life! You definitely had your priorities right. You showed me photos of family holidays, particularly America. After about 100, there was always just one more because of the look on one of their faces, or something funny you remembered. Several hours of my life that I will never get back but those memories are priceless now and I am so glad you shared them with me 😁 You supported the wrong Manchester football team but I forgave you. I thought it was hilarious when you all had to wear Man City shirts for staff/student football match. I took great pleasure in posting that photo on the OneLan in the School. I will have to route out that photo to post here. My last message to you was to thank you for all your support over the last few months. I had been through a really tough time and your texts to see how I was and if there was anything you could do was really appreciated. Claire - if there is ever anything I can do for you and the boys, please don't hesitate to ask. You are all in my thoughts at this very sad and difficult time. I feel lucky to have known you, you will not be forgotten! Tracie X
